All over Egypt
Flying to Hurghada, then transfer bus for about an hour or so to El Ghouna. One day of exploring the town/beach and then the next day we went up really early to go on a trip to Luxor, Karnak temple complex and the Valley of the Kings. It was amazing seeing those places. Karnak is huge for example. Well worth the 16 hour long roundtrip with bus.
One day to rest, then we had booked a half day with desert safari which was nice. And the following day it was a new 16 hours roundtrip with bus to go see the pyramids at the Giza plateau. And the sphinx of course. That is one of the things on my bucket list. There was also a stop at the Egyptian Museum. Somewhere during that week we also booked a snorkeling trip in the red sea, which was pretty amazing too.
